Charlie's USA Lacrosse dream!

Hi, my name is Sallianne, and I'm Charlie's mum. Charlie has had a dream since he was 13. His dream is to go to a University in the USA, play top-level sports and gain a degree.

When Charlie was 16 in December 2019 he was selected by England Lacrosse for their

talent pathway Under 18 team; at this point, he had only been playing Lacrosse for 18

months, so they spotted a talent early. The talent pathway team only managed very few

games because of the global pandemic. Undeterred by this, Charlie was signed by First

Point USA a scholarship platform based in Manchester creating an online platform for

USA coaches to see Charlie's talent, skill and passion for Lacrosse. Charlie has been

offered a scholarship at a college in Maine, which is a brilliant achievement, and we are

incredibly grateful, but it still leaves us a substantial amount of dollars short. We are

appealing to friends and family to help us to help Charlie to achieve his dream.

Like many others, we are a hard-working family, but Tim and I have volunteered and run

children's groups all our working lives, with the Youth Theatre and Tim with Scouts. We are not used to asking for money or handouts but thought that some of you would like to

partly help Charlie achieve his dream. Thanks for reading this, and if you do donate, thank
