Charlie's Funeral Costs

Our father ended his last chapter here with us to begin his next chapter in paradise on January 28, 2021. He was a son, uncle, friend, brother, husband and father. From the heavens, he will now be a guardian angel to his wife, Melissa and his 4 daughters and son, Nicole, Alicia, Jazzy, Katey and Joey. He will be missed by so many, especially his brothers and sisters.
His selfless acts will always be remembered by all. For those who met our father, know he would help anybody without expecting anything in return. He was always the life of the party and ready to lift everybody's spirit, even when he couldn't lift his own. He wore his heart on his shoulder.
December 5th was the beginning to a hard and long battle with Covid. His strength and perseverance could be seen every minute of his battle. His only wish was to return home to his family, and he fought hard. We still do not understand why, or how, but God decided it was his time to join his mom and dad.
Lastly, we share a message dad sent mom on his last days:
"I want to kiss you, just one last time..those beautiful lips before I head to paradise. Allow me my pleasure in only your embrace because tonight baby, I want to save forever in my heart. So that when you finally get to join me, I will forever remember who you are...when I receive you beyond those pearly gates, it'll be like when dad met mom up there and we'll never part again..I love you."
We are currently asking for help to cover the final costs to provide a proper service for Carlos "Shorty" Maynes. We need to raise $3,000 by February 4th. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
