Charles Heart Fund

In April 2017, I received the shocking news that I had cardiac failure. Both sides of my heart were inflamed and there was a blood clot in my left aorta. the left side of my heart was unable to pump my body with the needed blood and oxygen. The right side of my heart was beating rapid but not very affective pace.
Since than I have spent over 3months in the hospital. The medical team at UC Davis has installed a device in the left side of my heart know as a HVAD to buy me time until I can get a heart transplant. 
I am asking for donations to help me get through this process. I am currently healing from the first surgery and preparing for the next.   Heart transplants cost over 900,000. I will use the funds to help me get through this life changing process. Medications, transportation, everyday living expenses. I am unable to work at this time and thankfully my family has been extremely supportive.   I am hoping through this campaign I can ease the burden as I prepare for a new heart and a new lease on life.
