Charles H. Crannell Peterson

On September 11, 2020 family and friends morn the passing of Charles Harold Crannell Peterson as he grew his wings joining his son Charles Mac Cowles. He was 61 years old. Earlier in the week Chuck went to the ER as he was having chronic nose bleeds. During the checkup things took a very unexpected turn for the worse. He was only diagnosed with lung cancer on September 1st, 2020. In a blink of an eye, the news came that Charles was stage 4. The next day he said he'd go into a medically induced coma. Charles knew he was too weak and consented to being sedated to help his condition. Unfortunately, the cancer was so aggressive and adding pneumonia his body just wasn’t strong enough to hold out. Chuck fought a courageous, strong, unimaginable battle, that he decided to not burden his loved ones with. He is Leaving behind his children Carlee Peterson, Josh Peterson, Brittany Peterson, and Wally Mersch. As well as his four grandchildren Lillian Mersch, Zoey Eaves, Aj Peterson, and Autumn Blakeslee. He had family down in Iowa his mother Dorothea Crannell Peterson. His Brother Richard Crannell Peterson, sister Doreen Sneller, and brother Robert Crannell Peterson.

Things have been a crazy storm for our family. We all thought we had more time with our beloved father. We are asking for any help we may be able to receive for his cremation and any other expenses to put to rest one of the most caring fathers in the world. Anything will help in our time of morning.
