Charlene's Fire Relief Fund

Donation protected

Sunday October 8th my mother Charlene Sheridan was a victim of the devastating fires burning through Santa Rosa California.  These wild fires took homes all the way to the ground leaving my mom and others homeless and with nothing.

My mom was sleeping when she heard a big crash and explosion.  She got up to see what the noise was from her closet.  When opening the door she was hit with nothing but smoke.  She realized her neighbors apartment (on the other side of the wall from her bedroom) was on fire.  No warning, no alarms... nothing!  Mom got out of the apartment only having time to  grab her small purse and a laundry basket with a couple days of dirty clothes in it.  Thank God she is a light sleeper, or we wouldn't have her here today.
She is staying with friends until she can find a more permanent home.  Although insurance and FEMA will be there, she is in need of the necessities and clothing now.  She has never been one to take a handout and might be mad for me doing this for her... but now together we are going to help the woman that is always helping others.

I want to thank everyone for everything they've done and are doing for my mom.  You don't know how much it means to my brothers and I.

Once again thank you!  You all are in our hearts forever.

*If you would like to send other donations as in clothes or the necessities, or even a card to tell her you are thinking of her... Please mail it to her work at:
