Charlene's Police Academy Fund

Hello Family, Friends and community 
Not many of you may Know me but to those of you who do, know that I been trying to chase the same dream for quite some time and i have not gave up. I have a positive outlook on life and i believe everything in life shapes you to be the best YOU, you can be. Here's some things i would like to share about myself....When i was 4 years old i lost my father to street violence and when i was 9 years old i almost lost my older brother to street violence as well. My mom is from mexico and raised me by herself. I currently work as a Security Officer, I am a single mother and i am currently in the process of starting the police academy,my first day will be January 4th. I'm so excited to try to pursue my dream of being a police officer in order to contribute some type of help in the community to prevent street violence. A small gesture can go a long way and it's me i am the small gesture! I finished the citizens academy that way i can be a volunteer police officer, i attend community college, my major is criminology. Police Academy starts soon and the cost is roughly $4,773 The Uniforms cost the most, even more than the actual classes and financial aid does not help with the cost of uniforms.

Any donations at all would be very helpful and donations i receive will go straight to all the items needed to piece together a crisp uniform from the boots to the handcuffs anything helps :) thank you everyone for reading my campaign even if you can't donate if you ever see me around out there please say hi !!
