Charivari Detroit is a FREE annual three-day Electronic Dance Music (EDM) festival held the first weekend in August. In 2021, Charivari Detroit will celebrate the 8th year. Charivari Detroit will first and foremost be a celebration of our city and it’s contributions to electronic dance music. Techno is a Detroit creation and Detroit is flush with the pioneers and present day masters of the genre. Charivari Detroit weekend continues to be the greatest assembly of Detroit based DJ talent ever!
But it’s not just the music. Charivari Detroit is a multi-faceted, multi stage festival that promotes health, art, and of course music. We also feature the only all female stage – Wonderful. Our goal is to showcase the local and internationally renowned talent that hails from this great city. Each Yogi, Artist, or DJ has a direct connection to Detroit.
Charivari Detroit is a great marketing opportunity for a brand to target a key consumer group. This engagement promotes community, embraces diversity, and creates awareness and best of all drives sales. Our 2020 event Charivari Worldwide was streamed exclusively online with Mixcloud and reached over 75000 worldwide fans. The festival enjoyed over one dozen Charivari Detroit official media sponsors including many outstate and international media outlets. Our social media, email, direct mail and on site display opportunities will allow your brand direct access to our engaged attendees. The festival and sponsors also enjoy a highly expanded social media footprint with our performance partners and your brand would take advantage of impressions across multiple platforms. Streaming is now part of the culture due to the Pandemic. We followed up with Sweet 16 stream in October, Thanksgiving stream in November, Holiday Cheer Stream in December and New Years Eve. We have reached over 1.5 million viewers/listeners and presented over 300 DJs from all over the globe. Our next stream will be Valentines Day 2021. And throughout the months of 2021, we will be embarking on a 2021 initiative to bring the brand to other major markets through Charivari Radio, our 24-hour internet radio platform on Mixcloud and many more things to come. #welcometothefuture
