Charity Walk - Exeter to Leeds

The team will be  doing this challenge dressed in their lycra or fancy dress and will be meeting this target on whatever piece of exercise equipment the team have in their houses, running, walking, rowing or riding - some will even hit the streets (still social distancing) in their running shoes to reach the target.  The team are grouping together and travelling  from Exeter to Leeds (circa 280 miles).   We have set ourselves 3 weeks to complete the challenge. 
 
If we smash the distance we will not stop – Captain Tom Moore didn’t, so neither will we!  We will continue until the end date and see how far north we can get in the 3 weeks - 1st May to the 22nd May!

Why are we doing this?
COVID 19 has not only effected our own daily lives in regard to not being able to see each other, family, friends and loved ones but charities within the UK are struggling massively due to the reduced amount of footfall in their shops, charity events and fundraisers being cancelled, and members of the public not having the disposable income they usually do due to being furloughed and becoming ill.
