Yeriwah Mega Foundation is a 501c 3 tax exempt charity operating from Midland, Texas .
The mission of this charity is to improve and provide much needed healthcare in poor African countries .
The first project our charity has undertaken is to build a Hospital in Brikama, a region of 700,000 people on the west coast of Africa , in the small country of The Gambia, with almost no healthcare of note . People from this region travel to neighboring countries for basic healthcare and as a result , the infant and maternal mortality rates in this region have skyrocketed. Maternal mortality is almost 20 times as in the USA. It is indeed shocking to have mothers dying while giving birth, in this day and age of modern healthcare !
Our mission of providing US standard healthcare in this underserved area will help tremendously in saving lives, preventing communicable disease and improve overall wellbeing of the people of that country.
The government of this country has been very generous to our charity by providing land to construct a hospital and we have all the plans ready to start construction. However , as you would know , any project of this size needs funding .
