Charity Bike Ride for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance

Not sure how many people are aware but last June I had a cycling accident which was serious enough to keep me off work for 3 months. As a result of the accident I was airlifted to Leeds General by the air ambulance, who rely heavily on donations from the public. Getting there so quickly from such a remote location helped eased my pain and reduced the seriousness of my injuries.
With this in mind and also the fact that none of us know when we may need this great service, myself and a few Worksop Wheelers will ride to Cleethorpes and back in a day, a distance of 125 miles. We are looking at Saturday 8th or Sunday 9th August, depending on the weather!
I would be grateful if anyone who knows me would be kind enough to spare a couple of pounds. No more is expected and I would be more than grateful for the amount. Thank you for reading the post and thanks to anyone who sponsors me. I will be splitting all monies raised between local air ambulance charities.

Our state of the art helicopter and highly-skilled Pilots, Paramedics and Doctors give some of the most critically ill and injured people their very best chance of survival in what is often their greatest hour of need! Since the Charity first began in 1994, we have undertaken over 19,200 potentially life-saving missions and we receive no direct Government funding.
