Kim & Kelly Chapman and their family-- always willing to give, sharing energy and talents directly impacting our kids, our community and the arts. Kim and her husband Kelly have come onto some of the most difficult challenges in their life. I have Kim's permission to share this ---
A couple of years back Kim's husband Kelly lost his job at Fisher Price as a designer. They have struggled financialy was not been able to find suitable employment. They sold their home in Orchard Park and downsized to a sweet little home in Cheektowaga. The proceeds from the sale paid off the mortgage and a tax bill surmounting from having to tap into their retirement money to make ends meet. In the most recent months, they were hit again learning that Kelly has been diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease - this is very similar to early onset dementia. There is no cure. With a weak medical insurance plan through Kim's job and little income they are in dire straits. Kelly's medical care will only increase as time goes on and his condition is deteriorating -- For the woman who gives to everyone else so tirelessly, For a kind man who has taken great pride in always taking care of his girls, and for their daughters, I am asking that you help return all the kindness they have put out into the world.
