Chano and Springtyme House Fire
Take a moment to look around you. Everything that you use in your daily life - clothes, toiletries, tools, household items... Not to mention everything you've held onto because of sentimental value, everything you cherished because it was given by a friend or loved one, or reminds you of a special time in your life.
Now imagine that is all gone, no chance to save any of it, everything just... literally up in smoke.
During the night of July 14, 2018, our dear friend Chano Subia, his two children, and the rest of his family lost their house and all of their belongings in a horrible house fire. Thankfully no one was seriously injured, but everything is gone. After the fire, Chano literally said "Well, I own one pair of shorts. That's it."
Additionally, another amazing friend, Springtyme Osmer had been living there until very recently, and all of her belongings were lost in the fire as well.
While the Red Cross has helped them with their most basic immediate needs, recovery has not really even begun yet. Their friends are asking - how can we help?
This is one way.
When disaster strikes, we come together. Please consider making a small donation towards Chano and Springtyme's house fire recovery fund. Money collected will go straight to them and their household members, to cover emergency expenses, to help them get through this terrible time, and to start trying to rebuild the basic items necessary for day-to-day life. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this Go Fund Me Campaign in whatever way you can.
Chano and Springtyme have been there for their friends across the globe. This is our time to be there for them.
