Above you’ll see a familiar sight - the main roundabout in St Peter Port flying some beautiful flags.
Now, imagine a time, around the beginning of September this year, you look up and atop of this flagpole is one giant rainbow flag.
Now Imagine underneath it 49 other gender identity and sexuality flags.
We’ve been granted permission to hoist up to 50 flags during Pride to celebrate all sexualities and gender identities. To promote diversity and inclusion for everyone and create discussions.
We need you to help make this happen. Each flag is going to cost between £20 & £30 depending on the design, we’ve identified about 25 different flags so far. So, however you identify (you may even have multiple identities) please donate some money, state your identity or the one you wish to support and we will create the most visible show of LGBTQ solidarity the islands have ever seen.

Also, in case you didn't know we've got a giant 50m rainbow flag and it's got your name on it - well, it definatley can have!
If you squint at the front of the flag you'll be able to spot names, we've got 50 meters so we've got plenty of space to add some more names!
In return for a £25* donation towards Channel Islands Pride 2018 you'll get your name (or a name of your choosing) added to the flag.
All donors (unless you prefer to remain anonymous) will be officially and permanently recorded as one of the fundraisers, and will have their names printed on the flag as a record of thanks. You may also choose to donate in honour or memory of a friend or loved one.
We will be incredibly grateful to everybody who chooses to donates and helps us keep Channel Islands Pride a free, inclusive event - we hope to see you all in Guernsey on the 8th of September 2018!
