On this very Holy day we lost a great father and dear friend of Ravanica, Milan Stevanovich peacefully passed away.  His love for his Chanel was palpable. For those that knew him, you knew his deep love for culture and the arts and he made sure that his beautiful daughter experienced the best of not only her Serbian heritage but other cultures as well. Many of you know he was committed to providing Chanel Stevanovich the best education possible. This fall she will be starting her freshman year in college. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Chanel’s education fund is appreciated "I lost not only my tata, but also my best friend. Anyone who knew him knew he was a man of integrity, honesty, charisma, and charm. He had an incredible sense of humor and was capable of charming an entire room with his warm and inviting personality. With a passion for technology, innovation, and vigor— Milan viewed mankind as heroic, unstoppable, and filled with unlimited potential. He incorporated this worldview in all of his work. For the past seven years, he was intently facilitating trade deals between China and the United States, taking a passion for blending cultures and creating magic through relating with one another. In all his work— be it restaurants, business, or even starting his own products and services: Milan was a proud man with all that he did. His willpower and industriousness was as strong as steel, but he also carried a beautiful empathetic heart. He was willing to lend an ear to anyone's woes, and he had a big heart for his thousands of cousins and friends across the world. It's still difficult for me to comprehend. My tata won't be able to walk me down the isle, meet his grandkids, or finish his ambitions in life. However, I know I would rather have been the daughter to this man than to anyone else, no matter how difficult it is to lose him so young. Goodbye, I love you, rest in peace. "The question isn't who's going to let me, it's who's going to stop me?" - Howard Roark from Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead, one of his favorite books of all time.
