Help Sid Repair His Car Fund

Donation protected

I don't ask for help very often. I'm more likely to offer help then ask most days, but right now I need some help and I am humbling myself by asking for some from my friends.

Sid and I are having a rough year. I mean really crazy stupid can't catch a break rough year.

So far we've had one car just completely die, job loss, illness, ceilings falling in, stolen cars, sick pets, a death of a close family friend...the list goes one and on.

But, there' s more, becuase there's always more.

Sid and I are having a rough year. I mean really crazy stupid can't catch a break rough year.

So far we've had one car just completely die, job loss, illness, ceilings falling in, a car stolen (and though it was recovered, it was damaged so much that it is undrivable), sick pets, a death of a close family friend...the list goes one and on.

But, there' s more, because there's always more.

Sid was diagnosed with Bi Polar II when he was 8. He was doing really well for years and then he started having a hard time again. A really hard time.  He has tried to commit suicide three times since December. He had to drop a class because he couldn't keep up and is now on Fin Aid Suspension. We knew this may happen and we've been saving money to pay for one semester of school so he can still keep up his progress and he finished school this spring with two As and a B. I'm proud of him. He's in therapy and working hard on his mental health.

After, Sid's car was stolen 6 weeks ago, a dear family friend, knew what was happening and stepped in to help us. We were able to buy Sid a new car and he was able to keep working. Sid works so we can pay for his therapy and medication, because even with insurance, those bills stack up quickly.

Yesterday, Sid was in a fairly bad car accident and that new car is in pretty bad shape. We have to make a choice between fixing that car so he can keep going to work and paying for his school next year. If we can raise enough to fix the car, maybe then, he can keep going to school. Maybe then he'll feel like his life is worth something and important.

Thank you for helping my little family out in our time of need. It means so much to us. You don't even know.
