Hi, I’m Marquisha. The mother of Chandler

On October 6th, my entire life changed in the blink of an eye. My baby boy Chandler was outside playing with all his siblings like any other day, saw a cat, ran after it into the street and was struck by a car.

He was in critical condition with his brain stem being injured in 3 different areas. My baby fought for a whole month. With the doctors saying he wouldn’t breathe on his own. He did. He wouldn’t open his eyes. He did. He wouldn’t be able to move again. He did. He even went to a rehab facility because we believed my son was going to make it.

November 10, it all changed. 3 days into the rehabilitation, For some reason my son succumbed to his injury. And on November 11th, 2022 at 5:11 my son was pronounced dead. I held onto my baby as long as I could. I never imagined that I would be in any position like this.

Chandler is the youngest of 7th and a twin. I love my baby and this is the hardest thing I’ll ever need to do. I’m a single parent and all they have is me. I’m so destroyed and broken right now… I need all the help I can get. I don’t even know the next steps to take. I’m trying to remain as sting as possible but a mother shouldn’t have to burry her baby. They’re supposed to burry me. I need y’all. All the love and support I can get . I need to be able to send my son Chandler back to God in the best way possible. Anything LITERALLY anything will help. Please keep praying for us. Pray for my baby boy Chandler.
