Champions of Congenital Heart Disease

Tax deductible
Mason Barlow was born in 2019 with rare congenital heart diseases, Tetrology of Fallot, (VSD) Ventricular Septal Defect, (ASD) Atrial Septal Defect, and Pulmonary Stenosis. During the first 6 months of his life it was filled with doctors appointments, constant supervision, and plenty of sheltering due to COVID-19. In late May of 2020, he was rushed to MUSC Charleston for observation after having his third Tet spell and a seizure. While at MUSC Charleston, Mason spent 15 days as he underwent his open heart surgery to repair his defects and to recover until he was released to go home. Our family spent several days apart as my wife spent all 15 days with Mason in Charleston and I traveled back and forth for work and to spend time with our daughter. During these days we experienced plenty of heart ache and restless nights but we where able to get through this with the love and support of family and friends. Our goal is provide support for families that have or will soon be facing our same experiences. Just remember you don't have to do this alone.

The Emerson Rose Foundation helped support us when we where at our lowest and we want to help support others. Please join the Barlow's in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Emerson Rose Heart Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
