Chad – Starting from Scratch

Hello family and friends!
If you're reading this, then you have asked how you can best help Chad through his current situation and we all thank you for your kindness!
Just in case you're catching up on this for the first time, the home in which Chad was renting, as well as, 93% (I would guess) of his belongings got destroyed by the recent tornado (as you can see pictured). All credit to God that he was not in his house at the time, but at the restaurant. He was able to go to the house the next morning and gather what he could salvage – "Pawpaw Kelly’s microscope, Pawpaw Temp's glass phone pole caps, Mawmaw Temp's milk urn, recipe notebooks, all financial documents, a handful of books including my bible, two plants, and a very lucky bottle of beer."
Thankfully, Chad has Alex (his fiancé) to lean on during this time as he tries to collect himself and is not left without anything. With that said, there are many priceless memories that he will not be able to replace. (Most importantly, in my eyes, the lifetime of Christmas ornaments. Yep, that made me cry too.) BUT we are able to focus on the things we can help him replace: clothes, books (especially cook books), kitchen supplies, bathroom/bedroom linens, tools, guitars, camping gear, furniture, etc. – the everyday day life stuff.
I wish I could make a list of everything that needs replacing to seem more personal, but we realized how tricky it would become to have Chad make a list of everything he needs at a time like this, so thank you for being willing to contribute in this way. All the money raised will go to Chad, so that he can begin replacing those items one by one.
I recognize that these items are not essential for survival, but I know that we all empathize with losing everything and having to completely start from scratch, so please feel free to give as little or as much as you want. I only put a goal of $10 on there because this is not about trying to reach a certain amount, this is just a place where you can give if you feel lead to. And let's be honest, prayer is needed the most for him and the many others that are starting over, so that above all.
