Chad Speer Classic
We are raising money for the first Annual Chad Speer Classic Baseball Tournament. This will be an annual high school baseball tournament held every year at Glencoe High School Baseball Field.. We are wanting this tournament to be unique and different from other tournament. We are naming this tournament the Chad Speer Classic baseball Tournament named after the one and only Chad Speer! Coach Speer has been a cornerstone of the Glencoe educational and athletic community for over 13 years. Coach Speer has also spent time coaching in other towns in Oklahoma such as Wynnewood, Arnett, Taloga, Keyes and in Calhan Colorado.
Coach Speer has been diagnosed with a form of ALS (Lou Gehrig disease). If you didn't know about the diagnosis you would have no idea as his energy, passion and love for his students hasn't changed. We hope to build the greatest HS baseball Tournament with some very unique and fun challenges to accompany it.
The main reason we are raising money is for several items.
1. To be able to have the best HS Tournament possible. We are going to have some fun things for the players and parents. We also want this tournament to become a yearly event. To do that we must make it to where teams and players want to play in it.
2. We would like to help Coach Speer with some medical expenses. This will go directly to his family.
3. We would like to donate some money to ALS research.
Thank you for your consideration. Remember we all play for #teamspeer7, #chadspeerclassic
