Cha Cha Strong Fundraising

Theresa, aka ChaCha... our Beautiful, Strong, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Aunt, Friend, Wife, and Dog Mom, who we all love dearly, was unfortunately diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer during the pandemic. Thankfully, this was discovered early and had not metastasized. When she began checking into the symptoms that resulted in this diagnosis, New York was beginning their lockdown due to the Pandemic and, unfortunately, things moved very slowly for her. Theresa was initially scheduled for major surgery in July. However, in June, she began to have complications, and needed to be brought in to have emergency surgery, where they removed the tumor, along with her ascending colon. Since she was diagnosed Theresa has been receiving so much support from her family and friends, of whom many have inquired about how they can help further. 

As a family, we decided to put together a ’Go Fund Me’ page for anyone who is looking to help support Theresa’s ongoing treatment and related expenses. This fund will go to help remove any worries related to current and future medical expenses. As we all know finances can be overwhelming, in addition to staying  strong during treatment. Theresa will be courageously undergoing chemotherapy for 3 months to defeat this disease. We are all so very grateful that her chemo treatment is a less invasive one, but her journery is not over. 

We are touched and amazed at how strong and determined she is to deal with this diagnosis, her surgery, and now chemo. She is blessed to have a strong husband by her side who is also a cancer survivor himself, and continues to help her stay on top of her food intake, nutrition, and exercises. As her family, there is nothing medically we can do for her. However, we can try to remove any stress related to future medical bills by sharing her story with you all, and we hope you can do the same. We want Theresa and Tito to be able to both focus on her health, treatment, and recovery. 

Theresa is surrounded by the love and support of her family and friends. She has her husband Tito, and their beautiful dog Buddy, and so many people, both near and far, who will continue to fight alongside her during this time. We kindly ask for a donation, of any amount, that will go directly to help cover the costs of her chemotherapy, doctor check-ups, deductibles, and any other medical bills that unfortunately insurance may not cover. This IS something we can help them with; so lets help to lighten their burden! Please, if you're unable to donate, we sincerely understand, and only ask that you to keep them in your prayers.
