Shreveport, LA - Mr. Giovanni Fernandez, 27, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, at Osborn Funeral Home and Krowicki Funeral Home in Linden, NJ on Sunday August 3 from 5pm-9pm
Giovanni was a native of Linden, NJ and a resident of Shreveport for nine years. He was loved by many and had a true love for the outdoors. Giovanni spent most of his time outdoors roller blading, jogging, swimming and enjoying nature. Giovanni was a sports enthusiast and was very passionate about basketball.
Giovanni was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Juan Fernandez and Cesario Fernandez. He is survived by his parents, Rafaela Fernandez, of Atlanta, GA and Antonio Fernandez, of Springhill, TN; brother, Jarvis Fernandez; sister, Sasha Fernandez and his beloved girlfriend, Krystal Atkins. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Carmen Fernandez; and paternal grandmother, Dolores Fernandez.
