My name is Darlene. I am hoping I can raise funds had to put amount down (dose not have a anyamount will do )as I would take anything at this point to continue to still recieve dontaions and it may help me on my next chapter as i have been home for such a long time and need much catching up to do and some grievence time when said and done I no longer have to takes them trips to the hospital or now to stay home , But I do need to get a full time job and have only part time , Carl himself asked to keep this page going until i got on my feet , Then to change it over for others in my postion to help them out and able to pay my Bills and eventluy to help others pay thieres as I have am still struggling for people with cystic fibrosis needed for my son Carl who is battling the end stages/ Hospice of his Cystic Fibrosis. He is now Hospice and will be going in the Hospital as hospice , This week , Jan 2-6, 2017 Together we will fight this to the very end, my love for you carl will never go away for it will be tucked with stephanie close to my heart and will feel you close when i speak your name
Here’s a little history as well. My daughter Stephanie Jean Linders, our angel in heaven, passed away in 2002 from this terrible genetic disease. And then a year later, my husband passed from Cancer. Now, I can only work part time I have exhasted all I can exhast from as Carl is needing me more and more at home / and now back at the hospital for possibely his last to visit him will be very hard to do as the hsopital is about 40 miles and my car just is not reilable and stops working when it feels like it so every time I take it out which is only to work for food short trips as I dont have triple A and need to to care for him. So, I hope you can imagine my financial strain. I can barely keep up with the mortgage, utilities, bills, and food every month, much less have a savings account.
The biggest problem is that I do not have safe and reliable transportation. My car is working but in no way safe enough to bring him to and from hospital and doctor appointments which are about 40 miles away. I have had to rely on friends and family. Unfortunately, these hospital and doctor visits are becoming much more frequent as his condition progresses. When he is hospitalized for long periods, I cannot visit without having to ask someone to bring me. Now with my ar being at its worst and being on hospice and need to work the visits will be few and in between and hopefull I can make it for him As I have exhasted all that I can exhast from the last 2 years
I lost my beautiful daughter to Cystic Fibrosis and now have little time left with my son carl, my only child left. He just came home after a 3 week hospital stay. I felt so helpless as I could not drive back and forth to be with him. Thank God, yet again, another friend pulled through to bring me to pick him up and bring him home from the hospital.
Any donations are appreciated and would help to obtain a reliable and safe car and help with our bills.
