Hi, I'm Taylor, one of Neeko's friends. I set up this account because she deserves recognition for what she has been through and how she's handled it (like a rockstar may I add). I've never seen anyone stronger with such tribulations in my life and approach it with the grace and classiness she has.
This is Nicole who I met sophmore year of college and man...let me tell you what an amazing person she is. Some of youknow her, some of you don't and some have heard about her and her many loves in life through social media or a single conversation.
Some of you know Neeko has been through a lot of physical problems. Even though she's only 24, she's gone through two major surgeries.
Six years ago, Neeko was hospitalized after feeling faint and burning from a 104 fever. She discovered a lot of her medical issues were being caused by pneumonia and anemia. She spent the next 2 years having multiple blood transfusions.
Two years later, she found out that she had stage 3 cancer and underwent chemo and a whipple surgery, which is a major procedure.
As of last year, she experienced very odd symptoms, sending her to Dr. Russel Weister to find out she has ovarian cancer. She is due to have her final surgery, a hysterectomy on February 22nd.
She's been going through a very hard time with some major life changes, lack of family support, and financial problems with work changes and minimal income...
She's trying to save money but the surgery is expensive and so is recovery. She doesn't like to ask for help or money. She is very giving to her friends so I hope her friends will be giving too, even if it's just a few dollars.
The money will go towards surgery and recovery until she can return to work.
