Central Ohio Symphony July 4th
Tax deductible
Every year for the past 35 years the Central Ohio Symphony has performed a free 4th of July concert at Phillips Glen on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University. The concert is free - our gift to the Delaware community.
This year, for the safety or our musicians and all of our listeners, we're unable to hold our concert. But that also means that we're unable to take the free will offering that helps to keep our organization financially stable. That offering can generate several thousand dollars to pay our employees and musicians.
In this pandemic atmosphere that is so very challenging for arts organizations everywhere, we thought a 4th of July GoFundMe would be perfectly fitting if it had a fundraising goal of... 1812 dollars! Why? Because right about 9:00 P.M. (the very moment we're launching this drive), we'd be performing the 1812 Overture complete with cannon blasts.
Our organization has been blessed by the support of this community for more than 40 years, and we thank you for your continued support in challenging times.
