Over the past 8 years, my dream of a boutique wine bistro has bloomed into a lively & growing small business thanks to a determined "I think I can..." outlook, really good people and A LOT of sweat equity!
Cellar Gate has definitely had its share of challenges, as most small businesses do. From a modest beginning of a makeshift kitchen , a cook and one other staff member (me!) we've built our staff and made a few minor upgrades to our tiny, outgrown kitchen. With a great deal of wear and tear on the current kitchen equipment it's in DESPERATE need of an upgrade but I simply don't have the funds to fulfill that need. This year is proving that my little bistro is ready to be taken to the next level and we want to continue offering our unique wine & food experience.
I am a dedicated female entrepreneur who has always enjoyed being "the giver" rather than "the receiver".
For the sake of my small business, I've put my pride aside to ask for support so I may continue building what I've worked so hard to create. So many small businesses fail soon after opening but not mine!
Thank you for reading my story and your kind consideration in supporting women in small business.
