The Youth Learning Network (YLN) is a Not-for-Profit community youth development, heritage and educational charity set up in March 2007 to support Parents, Children and Young People within the African, African Caribbean and other communities in helping them with their educational and developmental needs for the reclamation and revival of their lost cultural roots. The organisation achieves this through a holistic approach by undertaking a series of Heritage projects by visiting places of learning and history both in the UK and abroad, African History programmes, the provision of supplementary education activities, motivational programmes, parents forums, arts & design, Poetry & storytelling and most importantly, delivering residential workshops, youth training programmes, (Youth Employment Project) mentoring and seminars (Youth Ambassadors Projects)

The Youth Learning Network is looking for  people who can donate to sponsor 15 students, 2 teachers, 2 parents and 1 trustee of the organisation to undertake a heritage project trip in July/August 2020 to the Republic of Benin through Ghana in West Africa for 14 Days. Donations will support in meeting the costs of hired transport, fuel & driver, tickets, food, photography, hotel accommodation, tour guide& entry fees, visas & Insurance, videos and project evaluation cost. 

The project will undertake visits to historical places of Learning, see at firsthand the various historical buildings which includes the 400 rooms built by the Emperor of Benin in 800 AD that was used to trade between Africa and the rest of the world.
