Twenty-year-old Rathana Anthony Tiv passed away from complications related to a tragic accident in which he was hit from behind by a car that lost control. Few details are known about the accident at this time. See this article from the Global News (Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017) for more information.
Rathana will be remembered for his loving nature and how much fun he was to be around. Everyone he met, he made an impact on. He always had a smile on his face, which was so unbelievably contagious. Rathana valued living a healthy life and modelled it for others by encouraging everyone around him to live life at its fullest. He gave back to his community through regular blood donations and loyalty to his country through military service. As though his love and charisma were not enough, Rathana’s organs will be donated to save and improve the lives of others, like he would have wanted. Rathana was everything anyone could ever ask for in a friend, godfather, brother, son and grandson. Nothing could have ever been changed to make him a better person; he was perfect.
We are asking for donations to cover the cost of an uplifting “Celebration of Life” service in Rathana’s memory. We want to have a good time surrounded by loved ones and good memories, the way Rathana would have liked. Any contribution helps.
