Celebration of the Life & Work of Walt Curtis

I think the friends of Walt Curtis are still in a bit of a daze. The man seemed immortal--alien, almost. That he is gone is almost unfathomable. His life and work definitely need celebrating and remembering. I am sure there will be many remembrances and tributes as the year winds to a close.

I am raising money for a Celebration of Life on November 5 at Pacific Crest Community School from 3PM to 6PM. There will be many poets and friends speaking, as well as music and dancing. Food has been generously donated by the Oregon Cultural Heritage Committee.

There will also be a non-stop video and photo montage of Walt projected with a 15-minute video of Walt reading and speaking created by Rabia Yeaman with image donations from dozens, including Penny Allen, Eric Edwards, Gus Van Sant and Sabrina Guitart.
