Celebration of Life Richard Loop

Many things in life come to you as a surprise. Some for good and some not so much...Today we are here telling a story of a man who completed his journey for the 55 years of his amazing life. He was one of the strongest men with a heart of gold that we have ever known and loved dearly. It came to all of us as a big surprise to hear Rich had left us. He has been fighting depression for 3 years, and still wore a smile on his face everyday. He enjoyed helping people so much that he made his career as a Lifeguard/EMT in Pompano Beach Ocean Rescue for the past 15+ years. No one could possibly know how much thinking of all the good and bad, happy and sad, that one can do when they spend a adequate amount of time sitting half their days in a tower confined on the beach. Rich tried to seek help from professionals, along with family and friends. Depression is a very  hard topic for most to discuss. We’ll never really know what was going on in his thoughts. That’s something we’ll never get answers too. We do know he loved his family, grand children and friends more then anything. He also loved his Lifeguard family very much! 

          It’s never an easy subject, but should be discussed.  We never thought we would have to discuss burial plans for any of us but here we are trying to figure this all out. It is a very stressful time going through the grief process and now the service and cremation arrangements. We’re asking everyone that can help with a donation we would greatly appreciate it.
