Celebration of Life for Roy Tago

Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,

Most of you already know that our dear brother, father, uncle and son, Roy Carolina Tago,  passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2018.  Due to a persistent cough and swelling of his lower extremities, Roy went to the ER this past Tuesday, March 6th.  Test results indicated he had fluid in his lungs and an enlarged heart due to the fluid surrounding his heart.  Thursday evening, Roy was informed that the doctor was going to perform a procedure the next day which would enable him to examine his lungs and arteries in depth.  Prior to the procedure on Friday, the hospital staff assured his son, Nate, that they performed this procedure on numerous occasions, not to worry and that he would be seeing his father soon.  After completing the procedure, the physician determined that surgery was needed immediately.  It was at this time Roy went into cardiac arrest.  For about an hour, the medical team did all that they could to try and revive him but his heart was just too weak to handle the stress.  Roy had passed.

It is because of this sudden and tragic event that we have established this GoFundMe page as a vessel for funeral costs.  It is with your donations and contributions that enabled us to secure the mortuary, burial services, church and hall services and reception.  Future expenses i.e. death certificates, headstone, etc. have also been allotted for in your donations.  With each of these costs, forms of payment will be made by way of cash and/or cashier's checks.  All the arrangements and preparations for Roy's journey home couldn't have been done without all of your kindness and generosity these passed few days.  It's amazing how the life of one person can make us all come together in love and support.

On behalf of Roy's mom, Faasei, and siblings: Maxine, Phyllis, James, Frank and Larry, Roy's three beautiful children: Isaac, Nate and Moriah, and all his nieces and nephews, we extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to you all.

Love and blessings,
JoAnn Tago - sister-in-law
(wife of Frank Tago)
