Celebration of Life and Family Support Bill Grimm

Bill was a fierce, brilliant lawyer, a champion for children, a loving father, a devoted husband, and an inspiring mentor. His passion for helping youth in foster care touched all who knew him, and he inspired many generations of child advocates. Despite a frightening prognosis, Bill never gave up.  He worked tirelessly until the day he died both for his family and for children.

Bill passed away in his home on Tuesday April 2nd, 2019. This felt sudden as we had heard news that Bill had good results from an MRI that the tumor had not regrown. We all thought we would have more time with Bill. We now share our grief and condolences with you all and with Bill's family.

As Bill's family prepare a Celebration of Life and grieve his loss they could use our love and care. Funds will be used to provide meals to his family, assist with preparations for the Celebration of Life and medical and other expenses related to Bill's passing over the next month. 

Bill's wife Sherianne will be able to withdraw funds as they come in and colleagues from NCYL can help arrange meal service. 

Nothing would have made Bill happier than knowing his wife and children are receiving the love and care they deserve and ensuring the children we work with are better protected through our collective work together. We hope we can all make him proud.
