Celebrating the Life of Cody

Beschermde donatie
We lost our friend, son, brother and father at the young age of 26. Cody was a giving, thoughtful, funny soul who passed away suddenly while laying in bed. His heart stopped. He is survived by his beautiful smart 4 year old son. Aaron Joseph, sister Lexi, brother Justin and parents Scott and Becky. No family is prepared for such devastation to happen to their family so suddenly. This family is broken right now. This fund will be used for Cody's funeral expenses.

Cody's story:
Cody was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 9. He has been dealing with being Insulin dependent and the roller coaster ride of this disease for most of his life. He has had many complications from this illness and has been on countless medications for years to help control various ailments. Cody has been hospitalized off and on for most of the past year. Last year his kidneys began failing. This year he was in renal failure and started dialysis treatment. He was finally beginning to feel better.  Once stable within his treatments, he was looking forward towards a kidney transplant in his future. Saturday morning as Cody was laying in bed, his heart stopped. Cardiac Arrest. His family assisted in CPR until the paramedics arrived and then he was transported to the hospital. He was not able to be revived and passed at 12:21 pm, 6/3/2017. Cody was 26 years old and leaves behind his 4-year-old son Aaron Joseph. Again, thank you all for your time during this devastating time for the family.
