Let me introduce my myself first off.. I am Sarah a long time friend and client of walsh’s k9. Brian might kill me for this fundraiser but I feel pretty shitty and helpless. Friends help friends right? That is my intensions here..
Today we all lost an incredible friend. Jake Walsh crossed the rainbow bridge. The past 2-3 months Jake had been experiencing discomfort, moaning when laying down, unable to get comfortable. He went to at least 3 places to get testing, scans and blood workups. Nothing really coming back. He was on 4-5 meds, taking CBD oil just to be able to walk up and down the car ramp and hang with Brian. Last night Brian found Jake non-responsive, he and his brother rushed him to an Er vet in Ann Arbor where he stayed over night. Today the news came, they found a tumor and it was cancer spread throughout. Jake was euthanized. Brian has lived this last year with having multiple surgeries and just has had a rough time. I know that anytime I call Brian and Jake with a need they show up. Always.. I know how many people they have helped. My prayer is to help lift up some of his sorrow by removing the financial burden of losing his best friend. If you find it in your heart to donate please do. If you don’t agree with my request please don’t let this reflect any feeling toward Brian as he might kill me for doing this. I promise you that every dollar raised will be given to him and used for his outstanding bills. Let’s all keep Brian in our prayers as we all know the relationship they had was one In a million.
