Celebrate Sally's Life: Fund Her Final Resting Place

Hello,

My name is Jordan Small and my mother Sally very sadly passed away yesterday April 15th, 2025 at the age of 70 years old after a nearly seven year battle with cancer. She passed peacefully in hospice care surrounded by myself and family members. My mother’s cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont. My family and I are trying to raise funds to give her a burial next to her mother Goldie who unfortunately passed from the same illness before I was born in the 1970s at the age of 44.

Any and all donations big and small are greatly appreciated ❤️ We expect to receive my mother’s ashes back by middle of next week. We would like to do the burial as soon as possible and organize a small, private celebration of life family gathering, preferably by Mother’s Day May 11th, 2025. Any remaining funds raised after the needed funds to pay for the burial plot, headstone and reimbursement of the funds to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME will be donated to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center where my mother received treatment.

SALLY'S OBITUARY

Sally Ann (Harris) Small, age 70 of O'Hara Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 15, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Goldie and Joseph Harris. Beloved wife of 42 years to Larry Small.

Loving mother of Josh (Rebecca) Small and Jordan (Kaila) Small. Grandmother of Evelyn and Scarlet. She is also survived by her brown tabby, Zoya.

She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, and also eating out. Sally enjoyed listening to Elvis and especially liked to play the PA lottery. She loved to eat spaghetti and meatballs, thumbprint cookies, Isaly's chipped ham, and pot roast and mashed potatoes. Sally enjoyed hosting holiday meals, especially with Easter coming up. She never drank enough water but loved a good glass of Pepsi.

Sally will be remembered as the best wife and mother their family could have ever asked for.
