Wheelchair Van for Aidan

Aidan is our 8 year old son. He had a near-fatal drowning accident just days before his 2nd birthday and since then has relied on others to care for him. He can not talk or walk. Until this point we have transported him in our existing van, having to put him a car seat and then physically lift and load his wheelchair or stroller.

As Aidan is getting older (and heavier) we are looking to either convert our existing van or trade in our van on an already converted one so that we can eliminate having to transfer him to a car seat as he is growing increasingly uncomfortable due to both hips being dislocated and deformed.

We do have some assistance through our son's insurance, but it isn't enough to cover the entire amount of the conversion. Another of our concerns is that we struggle to make our monthly payments on our van and worry about losing it. To give us peace of mind, we would like to be able to eliminate that payment by owning our vehicle outright.

We've been so blessed and we want to continue to give Aidan the best that we can.  We hope that you will consider helping us raise the necessary funds to make Aidan's and our lives much easier.
