Cedar's Heartworm Treatment

Hello my name is Shelby Moody, I am a sophomore at North Carolina Wesleyan College.  Three months ago I went to a local shelter to find myself a furry companion. This sweet little girl was all the way in the back by herself. Immediately, we knew she was the one, jumping on the gate and smiling right at us. It was it love at first sight.  As she settled in at home we realized not all was right and got her checked out. A few days later our vet told us that she needed all her vaccinations and that she had tested positive for heartworms. We were immediately heart broken; this poor little girl was so sweet yet had such bad luck. The past few months i've been working along with going to school saving up money to try and get her healthy. So far she has gotten all of her vaccinations and started her heartworm medication. But unfortunately, I have not been able to save up enough for her heartworm treatment and need help.  All the money raised will go towards her treatment. I have attached a pdf listing the cost for the treatment. Our vet said she needs the treatment as soon as possible. Any little bit helps. Thank you so much for your time.
