IM Florida For Cancer Awareness
Donation protected
For me, triathlon isn't about competition. Triathlon is my zen, but most of all - it's where I feel closest to my late mother. My precious and strong mother died from cancer in February of 2015. She fought hard for herself and her family and I will never be able to put into words what watching her battle for us meant to me. She lost her battle to cancer, but we work hard to keep her memory alive. I race in a lot of ways to preserve her memory. She was steadfast in her support for me and my racing. She traveled with me to races and always made sure I had everything I needed. She was the ultimate squad member. No one was better than her. In her absence, I want to give back and raise awareness for others who are suffering from cancer as well. I'm racing to support a cause that is very close to my heart, so I’m hoping you’ll take the time to click the link and help fund my entry fees. The entries must be paid for in advance and any excess proceeds as well as funding I raise throughout the year will be donated to The American Cancer Association. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
