Cecelia “CeCe” Thomas- 5 month old Angel Baby Murdered in Chicago

“It took an instant to lose you, but it will take our entire lifetime to grieve you.”

On June 24, 2022 the precious life of our daughter Cecelia was violently stolen from us as she was shot in her head while being driven home by her loving father.

CeCe hadn’t learned to say mama or dada yet.

Just recently, our angel learned how to bounce up and down when we stood her up. Her beautiful smile warmed every heart and her giggles and laughter gave us the most unspeakable joy.

Although our angel baby’s light will forever shine, our family is frozen with grief and devastation. How do we make sense of her loss and figure out how to move forward knowing we’ll never be blessed seeing her angelic smile again?

Our family is struggling knowing CeCe’s killer STILL hasn’t been found. We’re struggling to speak about CeCe’s sweet life in the past tense.. she was JUST here. Our biggest struggle right now is figuring out how we can move forward to memorialize our baby girl while grieving the worse loss our family has ever suffered.
