Cece to USA Climbing Nationals

Hi my name’s Cece, I am 11 years old, and I am a competitive rock climber. I started rock climbing when I was 5 years old and instantly fell in love with the sport. When I was old enough I joined the Planet Rock climbing team. One of my favorite things about climbing is traveling and meeting new people around the world. I also enjoy climbing outdoors. My favorite place to climb outdoors is Acadia national park in Maine.



This year I won 5th place at divisional championships in Minneapolis MN and was invited to compete at nationals. I am so excited as this is my last year in Youth D and my first time making it to nationals! Nationals are located in Philadelphia so I put up this Gofundme to help offset the costs and any bit helps.


At nationals there are 4 days of climbing. The first 2 days are qualifiers and the 3rd and 4th day are semi finals and finals. My goal for nationals is to make it to finals. One thing that makes this national championship very important to me is being the only girl from my team in the D category. I will also be representing my city of Toledo, Ohio on the national stage and that’s exciting as well!
