My baby sister, Ceara Washington, passed on Feb. 4, 2018, leaving behind her one month old baby - Addison.
Prior to my sisters demise, my mother had been paying on a life insurance policy for approximately 7 years. This led her to believe that she was prepared for my sisters untimely death. However, upon notifying the insurance company, she was told that because my sister wasn’t a full-time student they would not pay out.
Now, in addition to caring for a one month old baby, my mother has to find money to pay for my sisters home-going.
So, in an effort to help with this huge adjustment in my mother’s life, I am asking that our friends, family, and loved ones donate to help pay for Ceara’s funeral instead of sending flowers and food. Every little bit counts and is much appreciated.
