Katsares Family

I am sharing this story with a heavy heart and asking for your prayers, good vibes, and support. On May 11th, my son-in-law, John Katsares, who is married to my daughter, Elizabeth, had a tragic accident while biking with his 3 children at a neighborhood bicycle park. John was taken by EMTs to Riverside Hospital, where he remains. John fractured the vertebrae in his neck and underwent emergency surgery. He is in ICU and will likely be there for a couple of weeks with recuperation in the hospital for many weeks after and most likely weeks at a rehab center to follow. The road ahead is going to be very long and challenging.
       John is a self-employed certified personal trainer and he and Elizabeth have their own gym.  They have built a successful, well-respected facility. You can only imagine how devastating this is for them and their 3 young children.
     John is proud, hard-working, and passionate. This will be very hard on him physically and emotionally. He’s a wonderful husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, nephew, friend, mentor. He and his family need your help now.
     Please consider helping no matter how small. John has always been self-sufficient and accepting assistance will be very hard for him, but he needs to know that we want a speedy recovery for him as worry-free as possible and sometimes people just want to help.
