Help Don Get Better

My father Don Rembach suffered a life-changing injury last November and has spent the last 9 months in hospital. 

In the last few weeks my Dad has been discharged from hospital and is finally united with Mum in their home again. He knows that he has a long way to go but we are all extremely proud of his progress.

The house has had to be adjusted and we will purchase equipment that he will need in order to move towards independence.

The equipment that he needs are a chair elevator, 2 wheelchairs, commode, hoists and slings, ramps, hospital bed, mattress and pressure cushions. Mum and Dad will also need ongoing nursing help to assist in caring and intensive physiotherapy

A lot of people have asked me if there is anything that they could do to help and while Dad was in hospital there was no way of knowing, but now that he is home, we now have a better idea of what the cost of his care is likely to be.

I have set up this website as a means for people who would like to contribute to the purchase of Dad’s equipment and care to do so. 

There is also a place for you to add your special note to Dad, to encourage him to keep up the good work and makes progress to his goal of being able to firstly stand and then walk again.
