Deanna’s Medical Expenses

While dropping off their dog at the dog sitters before heading to Denver to spend Christmas with the family for the first time in 13 years, Deanna slipped on the ice and landed on her hip. She knew she was in pain but nothing was going to stop her from getting to family Christmas so she was ushered into the truck and thus began the 13 hour trek to Denver. Once landing, it was decided that Deanna needed to be seen immediately and was rushed to the ER where we found out that she had absolutely crushed her hip-snapping the ball joint completely off and fracturing her femur as well. She will be having a complete hip replacement tomorrow morning (12/26) and has no medical insurance.
