Bruce and Cheri’s longtime home was lost in a devastating fire on the evening of Tuesday, December 10. Bruce and Cheri are Meme & Dede, they are Sissy and uncle Bruce, they are a treasured brother and cherished sister, and they are a friend turned family to so many people.
The Collier’s house was more than just a place to live, it was a home that welcomed so many—filled with so much love, great conversation, and delicious food— a home that held such special memories for family and friends.
Now, they are faced with many challenges as they are trying to look for a silver lining in a time of such pain.
Our family is very close, and we thank you all-so very much-for your volunteer spirit and prayers. They are very blessed to have not been hurt; however, they lost their two precious puppies, which is truly heartbreaking.
As we sat on the sidewalk, surrounded by family and friends, we prayed together, we watched the fire and smoke; surrounded by the tragedy, we felt blessed to all be able to still hold each other.
Right now, we are asking for prayers and monetary donations to help Bruce, Cheri, and Tommy begin the process of rebuilding their everyday lives.
