CØDA Ensemble 2018-2019 Season

CØDA Ensemble, founded by Liam Cunningham in 2018, is a Boston based chamber orchestra dedicated to bringing vibrant concerts to audiences of all ages. CØDA's goal is to program more pieces by living composers while also exploring the lineage of musical composition. The ensemble has worked hard to promote new music and in its inaugural season will give three world premieres.
Our 2018-2019 season is something we are incredibly excited about. With concerts every month, we have programmed composers such as Marti Epstein, Jennifer Higdon, Svend Schultz, John Harbison, Chaya Czernowin, Gustav Mahler, Sofia Gubaidulina, Leonard Bernstein, and many, many more.
In addition to our monthly concerts CØDA works hard to ensure community outreach, specifically looking to work with younger children and students, in order to foster a love for contemporary music with a younger generation. We believe that contemporary music is for all ages, and by allowing young audiences the opportunity to experience it, we will prove this.
We strive to keep our ticket prices low our audiences. Student and senior tickets are $5, and general admission is $10. For the price of a cup of coffee, you can instead come and see a live performance (of music that you probably dont know).
As a start up, we are relying on the public for much of our funding. Anything you can give will greatly help this group. We hope to see you at our future performances, thank you very much!
