Hello everyone!
My name is Sandra Morales and I’m currently a student at Clayton State University. I’m majoring in Literature with a minor in Spanish. My ultimate goal is to teach.
Today, I’m reaching out to you for help. Over the past 4 years, I have been paying out-of-state tuition because of my immigration status (holding only a DACA). I have worked full-time all these years to pay off my education because I was determined, and still am, to obtain an education. Thankfully, this is my last year in college and if by the grace of God, I will be graduating in the spring of 2015.
However, due to the high cost of tuition I’m stuck trying to come up with the money to finish paying my last year. I was granted a scholarship for the fall semester, which I was told that it would pay my whole tuition, but that was not the case. Since I’m paying out-of-state, I was only granted $3,000. I was also granted a scholarship from Freedom University for $1,100.00 but together I still do not have enough :( . My total tuition for the fall is $9,450.00. For my spring semester, I have to pay $9,140.00, with the hope that I will also receive the $3,000 for that semester, but that would be the only help I will obtain. Unfortunately, I cannot come up with all the money for my fall semester (and possibly for spring too) and I’m reaching for your help because the deadline is approaching. I have to pay my fall tuition by August 7th or I will not be able to begin my classes for the fall.
Please help me complete my last year of my bachelors and reach one of my many goals in education. I appreciate all your contributions and support in my education.
