Mom's Final Expenses

My mom was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer metastatic to her brain, chest, and liver.  When I knew my mom needed to go to the emergency room and then have a brain surgery, I had to leave my job and home to be with her through every step.  She also needed a port inserted to accept chemo therapy.   The chemo helped somewhat but had mixed results.  Mom also went through whole brain and chest radiation.   Our next plan was suppose to start immunotherapy to prolong life, but sadly my mom's time came sooner than expected.  She passed away peacefully.

I've had many of my own personal expenses which is more than I can afford.  After waiting for months of approval, I was finally paid as her caregiver but only for a month and my mom passed away.  

We just don't have enough money for final expenses of things and I need to immediately pay for cremation services.  (I wish a burial funeral and a memorial was affordable, but my mom requested cremation since it is a cheaper alternative.)  Other expenses include maintaining her utilties for awhile until things are figured out.  I also need to continue to provide care for her pets until I can re-home them.  All the local fosters are full but rescue groups are  trying to help find new homes for them.  

My mom was such a sweet, compassionate, gentle, and funny lady despite all that she has been through.  She was fully disabled for a long time.  She had seven major back surgeries, and she suffered a full home fire over ten years ago.   

I don't like asking for help or money, but I need some help paying for expenses since my mom has passed away.  I miss my mom so much and I'm very grateful to have been there for her every step of the way.
