On August 30th, 2017 my father in law was struck by a seizure that would change the course of his life forever. An MRI indicated a tumor which we later found to be Glioblastoma, the same brain cancer as Senator John McCain.
Glioblastoma is .6a primary brain cancer, which means it has not metastasized from another cancer, but is started in the brain.
There is no cure and without treatment, the life expectancy is 3-6 months. With Chemo and Radiation, life can be extended to about 14 months.
Because Richard's tumor was in the frontal lobe, it has affected his speech, personality and emotions and has caused him to lose his job. My mother in law, who is already on disability, is unable to pick up the financial slack, this is why we need YOU!
If you could donate any amount, it will help them get by during this already overwhelming situation.
Richard has applied for disability but the amount is a fraction of his previous income and it can take 3-6 months for a decision to be made for disability assistance.'
