Pancreatic Cancer: Gail's Fight

In April 2014 my mother Gail (Padgett) was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and given 6 months to a year to live. We are trying to shrink the tumor through chemo and radiation therapy to improve her chances of being a candidate for the Whipple Procedure which would give her a 1 in 5 chance for a cure.
During this time I have been trying to care for her on my own. Visits to the cancer clinic 5 times a week and 3 hour trips to UVA hospital with her have left me unable to work. Both doctor bills and personal expenses are accumulating and causing added stress to an already stressful situation.
Knowing that a little here and there might add up I'm asking for your help at this time. I love my mother and want to be able to give her this personalized care for as long as I can.
All money donated will go directly to expenses related to caring for my mother including the rising cost of her medications.
