CBR family of boatmen and guides at Mainit

October 26th Typhoon Quinta made landfall in the Mabini area with Mainit (secret bay) taking the full blow and impact of 140+mph sustained winds, giant wind waves and high tide surge. While the resort and resort staff are okay, many in the community are not.
All of the boats that use the secret bay shoreline are now complete scrap and beyond repair with a loss of more than 20 banca’s with 7 that still remain missing.
Families have been displaced and livlihood directly impacted in the area as well and includes some of our boatmen and guides.
Im asking anyone that can assist to please help at this time of need. All of the money received will go directly to the families effected in the Mainit area and include many of the boatmen and guides that we know and dive with.
Your generous donations, will help to buy food, do repairs on their homes, to purchase fuel for generators and bottled water, purchase medicine etc.
The resort will be taking care of all immediate staff but the extended family needs our help.
